— Developed by Deen Mohd Dar

The Gender Role Scale is based on the idea that individuals can display traditionally masculine traits, feminine traits, or a combination of both. This scale is conceptually developed and influenced by the Bem Sex Role Inventory (BSRI), a widely used instrument in social and personality psychology. The gender role test aims to assess how strongly individuals identify with culturally defined gender role traits.
The gender role test does not measure biological sexual orientation.
– It measures gender role traits—patterns of behavior, attitudes, and self-concept shaped by social norms.

What gender role test tries to measure?
What makes this test unique is that it measures your traits in multidimensional basis. It tries to capture multiple facets of masculine tpred trais and feminine typed traits. For example, for masculine-typed traits, this quiz looks for these tendencies: Assertive, Independent, Dominant, Competitive, Risk-taking, Decisive, Leadership-oriented, etc. For Feminine-typed traits, it looks for Caring, Empathetic, Gentle, Cooperative, emotionally expressive, Nurturing, and sensitive to others. By assessing these traits, the scale tries to measure how strongly you show traits that are traditionally labeled as masculine and feminine.
Is this gender role test based on research?
This gender role test is designed to measure your personality preferences, the way you act, and how you typically feel. This test is not associated with Bem Sex Role Inventory (BSRI), but it uses the same structure and approach to reveal masculine and feminine personality traits.
